Bio

Harli & The House of Juniper is a four-piece rock band from Charlottesville, Virginia. Their music combines the raw emotion of soul with the energy and attitude of punk rock, creating a new genre that they call "soul punk."

In late 2016, Jonathan Daughdrill met singer-songwriter Harli Saxon at a local open mic and asked her to join his band, Juniper, as the frontwoman. The band performed for several months as Harli Saxon & Juniper before the other two members of Juniper left the band. Harli asked her old friend Liam Gallmeyer to join on the bass, and Liam brought in Eric Nelson to play drums. The foursome soon realized they had something special, so they changed the band name to Harli & The House of Juniper to reflect the band's new direction and group dynamic.

Harli & The House of Juniper quickly established themselves as a force to be reckoned with, winning the Music Resource Center's 2017 Battle of The Bands and then Rock Hits 92.3's Battle of the Bands in January 2018. After Nelson's departure from the group in July 2018, Harli's cousin Jesse Lloyd joined as their new drummer. They are currently recording their first studio album to be released in September 2018.
